The National Forum of Music is now under construction in Plac Wolności. Do you know when it is going to open?

In February 2012 the Wroclaw Philharmonic Orchestra tours the USA with Maestro Jacek Kaspszyk. During three weeks (February 6–27) the orchestra goes across the country and plays 15 concerts with various programs.
World-famous pianist Garrick Ohlsson, the 1st American ever to win the F. Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw, joins the extraordinary project. The other soloist is Maciej Mlodawski, the leader of cellos of the Wroclaw Philharmonic Orchestra.
Apart from Polish music: Frederick Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 2 in F minor, Karol Szymanowski’s Concert Overture and Witold Lutoslawski’s Little Suite, the program includes Ludwig van Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 4 in G major, two works by Antonin Dvorak (Cello Concerto in B minor and Symphony No. 7 in D minor) and Johannes Brahms’s Piano Quartet in G minor arranged for orchestra by Arnold Schonberg.
