The National Forum of Music will be erected at Plac Wolności (Freedom Square) in Wrocław. A positive result of the Head of Polish Procurement Office inspection allowed the city to sign a contract with the contractor – Mostostal Warszawa PLC. The construction is scheduled for 30 months. The partners of this project are: Artec Consultants Inc (acoustics), APA Kuryłowicz & Associates (designers) i Ove ARUP & Partners (contract engineer).

The investment is subsidised by the European Regional Development Fund as part of the Operational Programme ‘Infrastructure and Environment’. It is the first large investment project in the field of culture that has been approved by the European Commission.
